Evangeline Johnson, Lead Pastor
Pastor Evangeline Johnson is the Lead Pastor of Abundant Life in Christ Ministries in Lexington, Kentucky, where she serves with a heart for biblical teaching, spiritual growth, and pastoral care. Pastor Johnson was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 16 and accepted her call to the ministry in 2009. Elevated to Lead Pastor in September 2025, she is committed to leading God’s people with faith, integrity, and compassion.
Pastor Johnson is the Founder of Titus II Ministries, a coaching ministry focused on strengthening individuals, marriages, and families through Spirit-led, biblical principles. She is a Certified Christian Life Coach through Called Coach Institute and American Association of Christian Counselors; she also holds both a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky.
Blending sound doctrine with practical wisdom, Pastor Johnson brings years of ministry leadership and social work experience to her pastoral calling. Her passion is to see lives transformed, families restored, and believers equipped to live out their faith with purpose and power; and to be ready when Jesus Christ returns.
Pastor Johnson’s greatest joy, besides serving God is being the wife of Founding Pastor Charles Johnson for over 45 years, the mother of Julius, Marlon, Victoria, and Keith, Sr.; and the grandmother of nine grandchildren. She considers herself truly blessed!
Charles Lewis Johnson, Founding Pastor
Pastor Charles Johnson is the Founding Pastor of Abundant Life in Christ Ministries, established through his faithful obedience to God’s call and vision for a church rooted in the Word of God. He laid a strong spiritual and doctrinal foundation built on prayer, discipleship, and love for God’s people.
Known for his servant leadership and steadfast faith, Pastor Johnson devoted himself to nurturing spiritual maturity and unity within the body of Christ. His commitment to sound teaching and pastoral care has left a legacy that continues to guide and strengthen the ministry today. Finally, Founding Pastor Johnson is a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He and Pastor Evangeline have been married for over 45 years. He often thanks God for being alive and for another chance!
